We have many varities of beautiful water lillies, a selection of the more commonly asked for varieties are listed below. We grow most of our lillies on site in our pond, this ensures you get the best quality. We do have and can resource others so please do enquire using the contact page, or call us to see how we may help you.

Some plants are available for online purchase depending on season, please go to the plant section of the shop.

Escarboucle

These are a most accommodating pond plant and are of especial benefit in providing essential Summer shade to fish, and do help keep the water ‘sweet' due to the absorption of toxins and actual water filtration provided by the underside of their leaves in Summer.

Marliacea Chromatella

These aquatic plants are prized for their star-shaped, semi-double flowers which bloom in many colors. Flowers and large leaves float on or rise just above the surface of water.

Need full sun to bring out their gorgeous blooms. Plant easy-to-grow, hardy varieties where freezing winters kill the tender tropical varieties. Plant rhizomes on the surface of soil, 8 to 12 inches below the waterline, in a pond or container.

Madame Wilfron Gonnere

Large heavily petalled flowers, deep pink in the centre paler pink at the edge. Popular because it produces plenty of blooms every year.

It is suited to a medium sized pool with a spread of 4feet. Planting depth 2 feet

Rose-Arey

The Water Lily Marliacea Rosea Arey, 'Nymphaea', a spring water planted tuber, produces beautiful pink flowers.

The leaves are nearly circular in shape, and they are notched to the center. The leaves arise on stems from long rhizomes in the mud.

Flowers open early in the morning and is an excellent bloomer. A good choice for natural ponds.

Sioux

The Sioux Lily is an excellent bloomer and the flowers stay open very late into the day. The Sioux Lily's flowers form a star-shaped bloom that changes from chrome yellow to deep orange to copper red. The blooms are raised just out of the water.

When first setting up the lilies, the plant should be submerged to a depth of six inches. As the lily grows, it can be lowered to its ideal depth of 12-18 inches.
